Nancy J. Edmonson 73 of Denver, CO passed away on September 14, 2016.
She was born to William and Frances (Wright) Gage on September 18, 1942 in Newtonia, MO.

She was survived by her loving husband of 55 Years Bob L. Edmonson, five daughters; Sallye (Jim) Stevenson, Robin Meadows, Kellye (Howard) Ray, Dana (Joe) Owens, Dawn Edmonson; grandchildren Robert (Teka) Perry, Michael Petaway, Kellen (Dominique) Owens, Jasmine Meadows, Courtney Sanders, Dmitri Ray, Kristen Stevenson, Kirby Ray, Onna Owens, Meghan Stevenson, Kendall Sanders, Sidnei Brooks and Kyle Sanders; great- grandchildren Daunte, Heaven, Gabriel , KJ, Audrey, Lincoln and McKenna; One sister Frances Constance and her two children Kathrine Danelle Gage and Wade Nyema,(Delisha) Constance; numerous nieces, nephews and an abundance of extended family. As we all know, once you are a friend of Nancy you became a "family member". She is preceded in death by her parents Frances and William B. Gage.

Nancy had 55 wonderful years being married to the Love of her Life Bob. The majority of her work career was in insurance. After retirement from the insurance industry, Nancy went to work for the DMV were she later took ill. She still held a position with Insurance Women of Denver for 35 years. In fact she has held several potions such as Director, President, and Vice President. Throughout the years, she also owned her own business. "Nancy’s Silks" was known to make an impact on many of our lives during their special moments.

Throughout the years of marriage Nancy and Bob have taken numerous vacations. In fact we just took her to see one of her grandsons graduate from college. She was already planning a cruise for the near future. She enjoyed traveling and loved to read. Any chance she could get to read she would, when her daughters' were growing up they remember times when she would go into the ladies room and lock the door "just to read". Nancy was a faithful member of Emmanuel Christian Center she loved and enjoyed to hear Pastor Alvin Simpkins preach the word of the Lord.

Anyone that knew Nancy knew the love that she exhilarated. She was our Rock, the Glue that kept the family together, and she touched the Hearts of many. She will surely be missed and loved by all who ever knew her.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to DaVita Dialysis, 509 North Sable Blvd., Aurora, CO 80011, (303) 366-9686.
