Lawrence "Guy" Holton, 85, of Denver, passed away September 15, 2016.

He was born July 17, 1931 in Englewood, Colorado, the son of Morrill and Virgie (Overall) Holton. He grew up in Evergreen, Colorado where he used to ride horses.

On August 9, 1957, he married Nancy Glover.

Guy honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of Park View Bible Baptist Church where he served over the years as a Trustee, Treasurer, Deacon and Bus Driver.

He loved fishing and camping. He camped in almost every place in the State of Colorado except Telluride. He also enjoyed to watch Gunsmoke religiously every day. He loved his little dog, Punkin. Guy loved driving and was still a good driver.

Guy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nancy Holton; Two Sons, Shaun Holton and Timothy (Stacey) Holton; Two Grandchildren, Taylor Holton and Garrett Holton; Two Sisters, Mary Prouse and Stella Holton; many nieces and nephews and two beloved dogs, Punkin and Candy.

He is preceded in death by Son, Jeffery Holton; Father, Morrill John Holton; Mother, Virgie Olivia Holton; Two Brothers, Gene Smith and Roy Holton and Sister, Betty Courtney.
