Forest Brown was born on September 10, 1934, in Central City, Kentucky. He resided there until he departed in 1954 to serve his country in United States Air Force. Forest was awarded the bronze star during his tour in Vietnam and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1974 as a Master Sergeant. He received his Associate Degree while working for the Department of Defense as Electrician and retired in 1997.
Forest married Kattie Hatsue Teruya on February 8, 1960 in Misawa AB, Japan. He is survived by his wife: Kattie H. Brown of Aurora, Colorado; his son, Daniel P. Brown of Morrison, Colorado; and his daughters: Susan M. Daly of Spotsylvania, Virginia; Joyce A. Kantosky of Aurora, Colorado, and Linda K. Brown of Richmond, Virginia. Forest has eight grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled on Saturday, October 8, 2016. The viewing is scheduled from 12:00pm-2:00pm followed by a service. A military funeral honors ceremony will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Inurnment) on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11am, Staging Area A.
