Bertha Delia Salazar , 81, of Denver, passed away December 7, 2016.

She was born March 31, 1935 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Joseph and Viola (Maestes) Martinez.

She married Ronald Salazar in 1958.

Bertha enjoyed sewing and thrift shopping at the second-hand stores. She will be remembered as the world's best cook. She will be dearly missed.

Bertha is survived by her loving Husband of 58 years, Ronald E. Salazar; Son, Paul J. (Regina) Salazar; Seven Grandchildren, Abrianna (Fred Bear) Salazar, Joshua Salazar, Adrian Martinez, Amber Martinez, Ana Martinez-Kroh, Niko Martinez and Crystal Ortega; Many Great-Grandchildren; Two Sisters, Dolores Martinez and Beatrice Martinez; Four Brothers, Ernie Martinez, Pat Martinez, Louis (Ida) Martinez and Victor Martinez; and Many nieces and nephews including Debra "Botchie" Russomanno; .

She is preceded in death by Father, Joseph Martinez; Mother, Viola Martinez and Son, John J. Martinez.
