In Memory Of
Sharon Lynn Roszel
1949 - 2017

Sharon Lynn Roszel, 67, of Aurora passed away January 13, 2017.

She was born to the late Chester Williams and Leona Cannon, April 2, 1949 in Pampa, TX. Sharon graduated from Dewey High School in 1968. She married Roy S. Roszel III on August 15, 1970. From there Sharon and Roy relocated from Oklahoma to various adventures that the United States Navy provided to them, eventually settling down in Aurora, CO.

Sharon retired from the mortgage industry as a Senior Underwriter in 2010. She loved her work and the individuals that she worked with. She maintained friendships with many of her previous coworkers whom she considered and called part of her family. She was passionate about her friends and close family. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her husband and her best friend Roy. They often traveled on short trips together, some favorites being Las Vegas, and the Black Hills of South Dakota. She spoiled her two dogs and loved being retired so that she could spend time with them during the day. Making magic happen in the kitchen was one of her greatest passions. She loved to make unique recipes, and especially cupcakes for Roy. Many of us have benefited from some of that magic. She loved her daughter Cyndi, and her grandchildren Travis and Taryn with all her heart, and was very proud of all their accomplishments.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 46 years Roy S. Roszel, daughter Cynthia M. Hopkins (Roszel), son-in-law Eugene Hopkins, sister Karen Moran (Williams) brother-in-law Rock Moran, brothers David Wiliams and his wife Morgan, Chet Williams and his wife Cynthia, and her two grandchildren Travis and Taryn Sergent.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to uchthankyou4caring.org; Foundation for University of Colorado. Please choose to donate between Lung Cancer Colorado Fund or Transplant Program Fund and state IN MEMORY OF SHARON L. ROSZEL.

A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 190 Potomac Aurora CO at 10:00am Monday January 23, 2017. There will be a small reception to follow.
