Gerald M. Lester, 74, of Aurora, passed away March 12, 2017.

He was born June 5, 1942 in Durango, Colorado, the son of Vincil and Kathleen (Baggot) Lester. He was a graduate of Montezuma County High School and Adams State College. On October 5, 1968 he married Victoria Lane, of Aurora, Colorado.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Victoria Lester; two daughters, Stephanie (Camron) Burtch and Shelly (Mark) Ryan; six grandchildren, Kaleb Burtch, Trevor Burtch, Brady Burtch, Megan Burtch, Laney Ryan, and Kacey Ryan; two sisters, Pat (Tom) Gilmore and Kathi (Marty) Block; two brothers, Jim (Helen Sigmond) Lester and Ron (Debbie) Lester; sister-in-law, Judy Lane. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Lane Lester and parents, Vincil and Kathleen Lester.
