Moneta Axler-Bailey passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 in Aurora, CO.

Moneta was born to Harold and Cecilia Minowitz in Denver, CO and lived here her entire life. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed going to theatrical performances and to the cinema. Travelling and dining out at new area restaurants were some of Moneta’s favorite things to do. She especially loved spending time with her beloved dogs, Domino and Tucker.

She is survived by her husband, Jan of Denver, CO; daughter, Suzette Novak (Timothy) of Shelby Township, MI; stepchildren, Cathy Soron (Alex) and Michael Bailey (Kelley) of Craig, CO and Susan Hay (Mark) of Aurora, CO; sister, Francine (Joel) Piell of W. Bloomfield, MI; grandchildren, Casey and Kara Novak; step-grandchildren April Anthony, Jared Soron, Jessica Hay, Joshua Hay, Brittani Swartzell, Ryan Bailey, Tristin Bailey, Katie Bailey and seventeen step great-grandchildren.
