He was born March 8, 1943 in Rocky Ford, Colorado, the son of Damian and Delfina (Griego) Herrera.
On January 30, 1965, he married Margaret Wilson.
Edward honorably served in the US Navy during the VietNam War.
Edward loved to go camping and fishing. He enjoyed gambling in Vegas and dancing with his wife, Margaret. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Edward is survived by Two Sons, Dennis (Christina) Herrera and Michael (Amber) Herrera; Seven Grandchildren, Alysia Herrera, Brendan Herrera, Caylee Herrera, Arianna Herrera, Kai Herrera, Mya Herrera and Jaden Herrera; Two Brothers, Jose E. Herrera and Bob (Teresa) Herrera; Three Sisters, Ruby Padilla, Toni (Damone) Fowler and JoAnne Vigil; Many nieces and nephews including Daniel (Doris) Herrera and many extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Herrera; Father, Damian Herrera; Mother, Delfina Herrera; Sister, Rosie Griego and Brother, Ray Herrera.
