She was born October 28, 1959 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Alfred and Rozella (Stalcup) April.
She was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver.
On July 19, 1980, she married Michael J. Peterson, Sr.
Terri was a member of Faith Mountain Church. When she was younger, she was a member of the Daughters of the American Legion.
Terri loved to shop. She was always willing to try something new and would seek out new things, whether it was a new book or product. Her holidays were very special and Terri would decorate the house for every holiday. She loved to read and play bingo. She was an avid Broncos fan and collector of Broncos paraphernalia. She was also involved in the Broncos organization with her father, Al April, for many years. She adored her family, especially her children, grandchildren and fur children.
Terri is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Michael J. Peterson, Sr.; Three children, April M. Fernandez, Erin N. (Zachariah) Hofer and Michael J. (fiancee Elliah Gade) Peterson, Jr.; Four Grandchildren, Sydnie M. Shepard, Mario A. Fernandez, Jerimiah J. Hofer and Chloe L. Hofer; Sister, Nancy G. April; 11 brothers- and sisters-in-law; three therapy dogs, Buddy Mac, Lola and Leighla and Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by Mother, Rozella Arlene April, Father, Alfred Aloysius April and Sister, Sandra J. April.
