Meredith Charles Lamb, 76, formerly of Sterling, passed away July 9, 2017.

He was born April 3, 1941 in Sterling, Colorado, the son of Joshua and Helen Lamb.

He was a graduate of Sterling High School. He attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling.

He was married to the former Lee Ann Summers.

Meredith served honorably in the U.S. Air Force in the Philippines during the VietNam Era. When he was younger, Meredith was a member of the Methodist Church.

Meredith loved to go metal detecting. He was involved with seismology and loved to tinker. He was a rock hound. He was very interested in archaeology and history throughout his life.

Meredith is survived by two sisters, Joan Hendricks and Eleanor Karg and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lee Ann Lamb; father, Joshua M. Lamb in 1958; mother, Helen Lamb in 1962 and two brothers, Robert E. Lamb and Myrl Lamb.

Memorial contributions may be made in Meredith's name to the Salvation Army Broomfield Corp, 1080 Birch St., Broomfield, CO 80020.
