Earl G. Carlile, 91, of Englewood, passed away July 9, 2017.

He was born December 7, 1925 in Elden, Colorado, the son of George and Addie (Lott) Carlile.

In his early life he worked on the farm tending the cattle and crops. He was a graduate of Littleton High School and then attended Bon-Ton Beauty School in Denver and received his licensure.

Earl was the Owner/Operator of Carlile Beauty Salon in Denver for 47 years with his 3 sisters.

On December 14, 1951, he married Marjorie Hickey.

Earl honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Earl's passion was his yard work. He also was an avid bowler and bowled for over 30 years. Earl enjoyed watching all sports and going to the Denver Broncos games with Margie. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and to go fishing. He took great pride in his family, especially all of his children and grandchildren.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 65 1/2 years, Marjorie "Margie" Carlile; five children, Mitch (Tracy) Carlile, Kim Carlile, Howard (Stephanie) Carlile, Scott (Cherie) Carlile, Douglas (Rhonda) Carlile; ten grandchildren, Michelle, Hayden, Kenna, Gunnar, Landon, Winter, Farrah, Lexi, Leah and Jack; two great-grandchildren, Lydia and Lauryn; five step-grandchildren, MaKenna, Keegan, Tina, Rebecca and Hannah; step-great-grandchild, Kiya; Bryce and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by father, George Milton Carlile; mother, Addie Carlile and 8 brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl's name to Denver Hospice, 501 S Cherry St #700 Denver, CO 80246.
