Leah P. Houghton, 42

A loving mother, beloved daughter, sister and friend died July 6, 2017 in an Aurora, Colorado hospital of heart failure.

She is survived by her parents, Mary Powell (Maynard) of Middletown, IN and Douglas Houghton (Carolyn) of Bomassen Vermont; her sons, Andrew D. Houghton, 26, of Middletown, IN, Zachary J. Hazen, 14, and Gabriel A. Hazen, 12, of Lapel, IN; and her brother, Douglas W. Houghton of Nashville, TN.

A private family memorial service will be held.

Memorial contributions can be made to an educational trust set up for her minor children at any First Merchants Bank. First Merchants Bank, 790 W. Mill Street, PO Box 279, Middletown, IN 47356.
