John Mason Thomson Jr., 74, of Denver, passed away August 11, 2017.

He was born December 6, 1942 in Waseca, Minnesota, the son of John and Elaine (Rhode) Thomson. He attended University of Minnesota.

John is survived by his son, Geoffrey Thomson; two grandchildren, Zoe Thomson and Ian Thomson; sister, Linda Sayther; two brothers, Glenn Thomson and Scott (Theresa) Thomson; and brother-in-law, Paul Gorder. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Elaine Thomson; and sister, Barb Gorder.

Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to Queen City Rugby Football Club in Denver.
