In Memory Of
Walter James Glover
1922 - 2017

Walter James Glover, 95, of Thornton passed from the earth on September 2, 2017. He was born in Minneapolis Minnesota, son of George and Ruth Glover.

On September 14, 1940 he married Bettyann Sturdevant. They had four children Karen, David, Ronnie, and Rick. He built several award-winning homes in the Minneapolis area. In 1962 he relocated his family and continued his craftsmanship, building in the Denver area.

His great faith in Christ his King was demonstrated in hours spent helping at the Teen Center in Federal Heights and teaching several Bible studies in his home. The Lord blessed and healed his broken heart after the loss of his dear wife Bettyann (2001) and sweet daughter Karen (2005) with his marriage to Geraldine Fisher on March 16, 2002.

The Lord's love Shone down upon their lives together and they called their home a House of Prayer. Despite his illness his faith and love for his family grew with a boldness to win souls to Christ. This strong desire for everyone to know Christ drove him to write a book "The Cross and Beyond according to the Living Word". Miracle upon Miracle were being revealed up to his final day on Earth. He had fought a good fight and won his calling home.

Walter is survived by his sisters Dolores and Diane of Minnesota; Wife Geraldine Glover; Three Sons: David and his wife Gail of Pine, Colorado; Ronnie and his wife Sandra of Flint, Texas; Rick and his wife Janene of Lancaster, Texas; and two daughters: Lori and her husband Damien of Northglenn, Colorado; and Cindy and her husband Mark of Thornton, Colorado. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Walter J. Glover to M.I.A. Ministries. A ministry designed to mentor to the broken hearted. Donations can be made at www.miaministries.com a 501c3 organization which Walter supported monthly.
