He was born to the late Carlos (Charels) Tenorio and Rita Tenorio, May 26, 1948, in Denver, CO. After graduating from North High school, he married Darla Theresa Trujillo, in 1968. He was the proud father of two boys, Ronald Charles Tenorio Jr. and Donald Edward Tenorio (deceased). He was drafted into the Vietnam War and earned an honorable discharge after a two year tour in Alaska.
Ron owned and operated Southwestern Auto Glass and trim with his brother Memo. It was during this time he learned how to make custom upholstery and made a career out of doing high quality restorations on classic cars.
Ron is survived by Darla Tenorio, his wife of 49 years and his son Ronald Charles Tenorio Jr. and twin grandsons Isaac and Isaiah Tenorio and great granddaughter Lilyana Tenorio. He was also loved and survived by his brother, sisters, sister and brother in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. There will be a Christian service at His Love Fellowship church at 910 Kalamath St. on Wednesday, September 20th with viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and services starting at 11:00 a.m., followed by a procession to Fort Logan National Cemetery 1pm Stage area "A".
