Steven Michael Butcher, 49, beloved father of Christine Gollehon and Meagan Deroin, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2017.
He was born to Ken & Lynne Butcher, October 15, 1967, in Phoenix Arizona. He graduated from Broomfield High School in 1986 and attended University of Phoenix.
Steven was a dedicated and hard worker. His most notable job was working in management at Taco Bell for 20+ years. After Taco Bell, Steven started a new path with Bankers Life where he enjoyed providing life insurance to his clients.
Steven enjoyed many hobbies, such as playing guitar and taking a ride on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also valued his time spent with life-long friend, Eric Olin.
Steven is survived by two children: Christine Gollehon and Meagan Deroin. He is also survived by his mother, Lynne Butcher, his sisters: Kathy Lofing, Julie Tate, and Michele Campanaro, grandchildren: Aria and Teagan Gollehon, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Robert Butcher.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 17th from 5pm-8pm in Lakewood, Colorado.
