Floyd S. Garcia , 84, of Denver, passed away November 6, 2017.

He was born July 18, 1933 in Aguilar, Colorado, the son of Anastacio "Nash" and Helen (Garcia) Sandoval.

On April 10, 1959, he married Marie Torrez.

Floyd was a parishioner at Annunciation Church in Denver. He was also an Amway Distributor and a Union Steward for AFL/CIO.

Floyd loved to fish. He also enjoyed camping, picking pinon, and tinkering on cars. He was an all-around handyman. He will be remembered as a generous and good-hearted man who loved his mother and had room for everyone. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He treasured his children and his grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie Garcia; Four children, Connie (Eric) Ortega, Eleanor (Leonard) Nunez, Steve Garcia and Diane Garcia; seven grandchildren, William Nunez, Kristi (Fred) Campbell, Eric Ortega, Destiny Garcia, Joseph Nunez, Kathryn (Nathan) Joyce and Dominique Valdez; Fourteen Great-Grandchildren, Serena Ulrich, Amber Nunez, Maria Clark, Lilliann Nunez-Polk, Kalie Nunez, Dane Ogden, Gabriel Ortega, Aidan Campbell, Merci Ortega, Noah Joyce, Ava Joyce, Jeffrey Campbell, Jamison Campbell and Jeremy Bahl; Three Sisters, Dorothy Cardenas, Dolores (Lester McCullough) Sandoval-Dennis and Maria (Mario) Mena; Sister-In-Law, Loretta Sandoval; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and his favorite pet, Kahlua.

He is preceded in death by Mother, Helen Sandoval; Stepfather, Nash Sandoval; An infant daughter who passed away at birth, Theresa Marie Garcia; Grandchild, Leonard Nunez, Jr. and Brother, Abram Sandoval.
