Robert House, Jr. was born December 8, 1929 to the late Robert House, Sr. and Roosevelt “Rosie” Ford in Lexa, Arkansas and was one of 13 children.

Robert entered the Army and served his country as an (MP) Military Police and was stationed in Galveston, Texas where he met and married Geraldine (Gerry) Bolden on September 3, 1955.

Robert moved his family to Denver, Colorado in 1961. He worked for the Federal Government for several years and later became a Journeyman Welder in Denver and California. As a welder in California he was in a Coors commercial.

To relax, he loved to go deep sea fishing in California, found an interest in horses (track), dogs (track), the Hills of Colorado and played lots of dominoes.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are his daughters: Robbie House, Deborah Brown and Glenda Cross (Joseph Dorsey). Grandchildren: Dawn Vicknair (Laurence), Lorna Wilson (Anthony), of Los Angeles, Kimberly Herron (Anthony), Kelly House Smith, Randi House (Clinton Torres), Catalina Portillo all of Aurora, Colorado. Great-grandchildren: Lauren and Tyler Vicknair, Mariah and Zachary Wilson, Deavon House, Kamari and Donovan Herron, DeAndre, Danyell and Imani Smith, Kalynn Richardson, Alliyah and Brianna Nelson, Ely, Melyna, Adaly, Sativa Portillo, Aiden Torres, Ian Torres and Diesel Torres. Brothers: Herman (Willie Dell) House of Denver, John Quincy (JQ) of Arkansas and Governor Lee House of Wisconsin, nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Gerry House, grandchild Mark Tate, his parents: Robert Sr., Roosevelt “Rosie” and Ada Dodd House, sisters: Olga Mays, Mildred Dodd, Annie Pearl House, Rosie Duchan, his brothers: W.T., Frances, Lamont, Artimas and Alvin House.
