Jose "Joe" N. Vigil, 78, of Denver, died Tuesday, March 6th, 2018.

He was born to the late Aurelio and Eloisa Vigil October 2, 1939, in Fort Collins, Colorado. His wife Mary Vigil, whom he married in October of 1959, survives Joe.

Joe is preceded in death by his son Joseph Vigil, and survived by his four children: Mark (Kelly) Vigil, Robby (Cassandra) Vigil, Anna (Greg) Maestas and Lanette (Jose) Romero. Joe is also preceded in death by his siblings Alice Vigil and Rosella Cruz and is survived by his siblings Arthur Vigil and Ida Maestas, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive him, including a host of nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Joe loved camping, boating and was a hard worker and a man of many trades. He was family oriented and always made his family a priority. Not a man of many words, but his love and compassion was apparent regardless.

Services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church located at 2559 So. Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80219, on Friday, March 16, 2018. The Rosary will begin at 10:00 am, immediately followed by a Mass at 10:30 am.

Please join the family for a reception at the VFW, located on 4747 West Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80204 following the services.
