She was born December 17, 1966 in Jackson, Mississippi, the daughter of Robert and Bertha (Thompson) Thomas. She married George Cloyd, of Aurora, Colorado.
Barbara is survived by her husband, George Cloyd; five sons, Isaac (Raquel Jones) Thomas, Cornelius (Rose) Thomas, Teshallne (Sheena) Green, Quentin Thomas, and Robert (Naillah) Green Jr.; two daughters, Candes Thomas and Taquaila Thomas; two sisters, Sandra Minter and Pamela (L.J. Jones) Thomas; four brothers, Larry Thomas, Robert (Joetta) Thomas Jr., Pedro (Kalika) Thomas, and Alan Tyler, Jr. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Wayne Thomas, Sr.
