Joanne Green Davis was born in Lovell, Wyoming on December 7, 1935, to Forest William Green and Elva Owen. She was raised in Lowell, Wyoming with her twin sister Patricia and younger sister Carol.
She attended college at BYU and got a teaching degree where she taught Home Economics.
She married Charles Leo Davis on August 8, 1964. She raised three daughters who she taught the skills of her homemaking degree.
She enjoyed activities with her church friends, serving at the Temple and quilting with the ladies. She was a compassionate woman who would do anything for anyone, especially her family.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia and Carol (Bob Randall); daughters, Karen (Brad Thompson), Denise (Ron Dodd) and Laura (Tim Nieslanik); nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by parents, Forest and Elva Green and her husband, Charles.
Shelter Service and Committal will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 9:30 am followed by Memorial Service, Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10:30 am at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Green Mountain Building, 13206 West Green Mountain Drive, Lakewood, Colorado 80228-3515.
