Emily Huizingh, 90, of Denver was born May 19, 1928 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was the 5th child of Dirk and Nellie Oegema, immigrants from the Netherlands.
She married the late Gerald Huizingh of Grand Rapids in 1950 and then moved to Denver in 1956. Emily was a devoted full time mother and housewife. She loved swimming and working out. She was a founding member of Trinity Christian Reformed Church. She became a member of The Rock church after the closure of Trinity.
She is survived by her six children.
