Michelle S. Stanfill
1960 - 2018

Michelle Stanfill of Arvada, CO, passed away at her home on June 5, 2018 at the age of 57.

She was born on September 22, 1960 in Monticello, Utah to parents James and Anne McGregor, currently of Carson, Nevada.

Her father’s career in the oil business took the family from Utah to California (Bakersfield), to Colorado (Mancos) and Arizona (Flagstaff and the Indian reservation at Baby Rocks) where Michelle graduated from Coconino High School in 1978. After high school, she took several college courses and spent many years in the service industry before taking early retirement due to health concerns.

Michelle has been described as kind hearted, full of unconditional love, understanding and selfless. She loved to go antiquing, enjoying parks and the serenity of nature. She was also a lover of Lake Utah and the feeling of the sand between her toes.

Her eldest brother Marty McGregor preceded her in death while serving in the US Air Force. Michelle will be sadly missed by her son Justin, daughter-in-law Sydney and her partner Russ Henson, as well as her parents, her sister Sheryl Slack, Brother-in-law Sam, and her twin brother Mike McGregor. She was also the amazing aunt to six nieces and nephews, and a beloved friend to many.

The memorial service will be held at noon on June 22, 2018 at Newcomer funeral home located at 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226. Small reception to follow for close friends and family.
