He was born December 26, 1939 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Michael Espinosa and Maryann (Gallegos) Gutierrez.
He was a graduate of Manual High School in Denver.
On July 7, 1956, he married Mary Diaz.
Robert was a parishioner at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Denver.
Bob loved to play music in his spare time. He also enjoyed going to the movies. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by Three Daughters, April (Gerald) Roybal, Melody (Rick Bocanegra) Espinoza and Salena (Larry Villanueva) Espinoza; Son, Michael Hart; Seven Grandchildren, Rachel Espinoza, Misty Espinoza, Monique (Juaquin) Garcia, Robert (Adriene) Roybal, Julian Roybal, Roman McSparren and Mundo Arsiaga; Eight Great-Grandchildren, Isaiah Tafoya, Juaquin Garcia, Jr., Gabriel Garcia, Isabel Garcia, Noah Roybal, Blaize McSparren, Chance McSparren and Sosa; great-great-grandchild, Leia Tafoya.
He is preceded in death by his Wife of 61 years, Mary H. Espinoza; Son, Robert Ricky Espinoza; Two Grandchildren, Brendan McSparren and Cameron McSparren; Father, Michael Espinosa and Mother, Maryann Gutierrez.
