In Memory Of
Christopher Robert Carter
1975 - 2018

Christopher “Chris” Robert Carter was born on February 7th, 1975 to Patricia “Patty” and Don Carter in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He spent his earlier years in Colorado until his family relocated to North Carolina, when he was 7 years old. Chris spent most of his life in North Carolina surrounded by family and many good friends. His sister Sarah was always his partner in crime so to speak. With her only 3 years younger you would have thought they were twins.

Chris’ former marriage to Elizabeth Rockwell brought two beautiful daughters that were the air he breathed. He was a loving supportive father. His girls were his world and his grounding point in life.

Chris had many hobbies. He loved working on cars and raising his precious pit bulls and boxers. He loved football and supported the hometown team.

Chris had many family and friends. He always made you laugh and would give you the shirt of his back if you needed it.

He spent the last year of his life in Colorado with his mother. He had battled the last year with complications of diabetes with resulted in Chris’ parting. Throughout his struggle with Diabetes he wanted to make sure everyone knew how serious the disease could be and how important it is to take care of yourself.

Chris passed away on July 8th, 2018 in the hospital with his loving mother at his side. He was preceded in death by his father Don Carter. He is survived by his mother Patricia Blake, Daughters Meredith Carter and Madelynn Carter, Former wife Elizabeth Rockwell, his Sister Sarah Carter and nieces and nephews.

Even though Chris is gone he will always be with us in our hearts and waiting for us on the other side.
