Karen Marie Laferty, 74, of Arvada, passed away July 15, 2018.

She was born August 10, 1943 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Edward and Betty (Landaul) Enderle. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School. On December 2, 1961 she married Melvin Laferty, Jr., of Denver, Colorado. Karen worked as an Underwriter for United Fire Insurance Company for over 17 years.

Karen is survived by her husband, Melvin Laferty, Jr.; two daughters, Judith (Lonnie) Wenholz and Janice Laferty; one son, James (Briana) Laferty; sister, Patricia (Rich) Rector, brother, Michael (Linda) Enderle, brother, Leo (Maggie) Enderle; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by father, Edward Enderle, mother, Betty Enderle and sister, Kathy Lomax.
