Wade Titus, 70 of Westminster, Colorado
February 25, 1942-April 1, 2012
The life circle of Wade Titus began on February 25, 1942 in Wellington, Texas. He was the sixth child born to the union of Ebb and Evelyn Titus.
The years of Wade's early childhood were spent in Roraring Springs, Texas, where he received his formal education, as well as developing many life skills and work ethics through families.
The love of the Lord, and church attendance were installed in Wade and his siblings at early ages. Wade accepted Christ as his personal savior as a child and rededicated his life in later years.
During his trenty-five years of working in the construction industry, Wade developed a reputation for being a hardworking, reliable and conscientious task performer. He worked for several construction companies, before being hired by Saunders Construction Company. He was with the company for 18 years before retiring in 2004.
Wade was a sports fan. Though golf was his favorite sport, he loved football, baseball, fishing and hunting. He favored all of the texas teams of and loved to brag on them whether ther were on the winning or losing end of the game.
Friends and family will remember Wade for his quick wit and great sense of humor, his warm and friendly smile which he always wore and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone.
Wade's life circle reached it's completion on Sunday, April 1st, surrounded by many family members and friends.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Joy with whom he shared 33 year union, his sister Helen Carey of Amarillo; sons Michael and Virgil, daughters, Glenda Williams (Walter)., Maretha Garcia, Gloria Brown, Frances Lee and Adana Bailey; his grandchildren Maurice, Felicia, Geneva, Ricky, Lolita, Laquan, Shan'te, Jasmine, Leticia, Gabriella, Sierra, Joe, Michiah and Dominic; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Wade is also survived by several nieces and nephews in the Denver and Amarillo areas.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 12th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Newcomer West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd.,Lakewood, CO 80226. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Life fellowship Church, 11501 N. Sheridan Blvd; Westminster, CO 80022. Services will conclude at the church. Guests will be received folowing the services at 5013 Cathay Court in Denver, Colorado.
