Abel Montana Jr., 72, of Denver, passed away March 2, 2015.

He was born December 7, 1942 in Del Carbon, Colorado, the son of Abel and Wilhemina (Trujillo) Montana. He was a graduate of Denver West High School.

Abel honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to entertain his family with his guitar playing and singing.

Abel is survived by Son, Michael Paul Montana; Daughter, Elizabeth A. Montana; Two Grandchildren, Andrew Flinchpaugh and Kayla Flinchpaugh; Two Sisters, Mary Eleanor Colletti and Clorinda Candelairo; Two Brothers, Gerald (Tina Segura) Montana and Daniel Montana; Many nieces and nephews including Donna (Robert) Candelairo and his Former Wife, Georgia Williams.

He is preceded in death by Father, Abel Montana, Mother, Wilhemina Montana and Sister, Mabel Candelairo.

All family and friends are invited to the Graveside Service at 9:00AM on Wednesday, March 11 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Meet at Staging Area A.
