CLERE, DAVID H.

Mr. David Harold Clere, age 58, of Aurora, CO passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

Born on January 21, 1957 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He worked as a Bartender and Gaming Dealer for most of his working life.

Mr. Clere served as a Cook in the Air Force. As a boy, he loved model trains. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, visiting the ocean and loved entertaining as a Casino Dealer in his spare time.

He was charismatic and unique to all who knew him. His unforgettable personality, stories and infectious laugh attached to those who surrounded him. People loved his quirks and although at times he was shy, he could always stir up a room with his rendition of “Alice’s Restaurant”. He was the buddy who always knew your name, and he was always glad you came. You could hear him recite from time to time one of the many “Coughlin's laws” from the movie ‘Cocktail’, “Never show surprise, never lose your cool.” Just some of the many things we will never forget.

David was predeceased by his father, Jerry David Clere. He is survived by his mother, Donna Clere, son, Jeremy Clere and wife Hollie Clere, grandchildren, Trinity Clere and Felicity Clere of Centennial, CO, his Partner in Crime, Kathleen Lewis, with son Tarik Lewis and daughter Violet Lewis, Step-Daughter, Mandy Draper and husband Mike Draper, their children and grandchildren of South Salt Lake, Utah, and other loved ones and extended family in his heart from the past.

Flower contributions can be delivered to Newcomer Family Mortuary East at 190 Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80011. We are also accepting donations to assist with funeral expenses as well.

We would like to thank all of the nurses for their compassion and care and for all of those who have to prayed for and visited Mr. Clere.
