He was born November 27, 1947 in Richardton, North Dakota, the son of Julius and Bertha (Hauck) Gress. He was a graduate of Richardton High School. He received an Associates Degree from Auraria Higher Education Center. On November 14, 1977, he married Anne K. Gress.
Raymond is survived by his Wife, Anne K. Gress; Two Daughters, Cheryl Stewart and Karla K. (Bill) Fauria; Son, Michael J. McWade; Three Grandchildren, Kyle J. McWade, Shyanne M. McWade and Victoria R. Fauria; Five Brothers, Melvin (Joyce) Gress, Ronald (Pat) Gress, Marc (Carol) Gress, Curtis (late Pam) Gress and Tim (Karen) Gress; Five Sisters, Joan (Joe) Hoff, Karan (Bob) Goetz, Darlene (Jim) Geyer, Virginia (Bill) Clayton and Judy (Tony) Collay; and Many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Father, Julius M. Gress, Mother, Bertha Gress and Four Sisters, Lucille McCall, Claudia Lindemann, Evelyn Zent, and Alice Gress.
