Evadel "Del" Lankford
1921 - 2015

Mrs. Evadel Lankford (Lawler), of Lakewood, Colorado, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on August 29th, 2015. She was 93 years old. She is survived by three daughters: Martha (Joseph) Barney, of Ontario, Canada; Nancy (Olav) Reinertein, of North Carolina; and Carol (Ralph) Roland, of Lakewood, Colorado. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Idabel, Oklahoma in 1921. She was the daughter of Eva & Henry Lawler of Holdenville, Oklahoma.

She was the wife of James W. Lankford, Colonel in the United States Air Force; military life meant living in many states and countries.

In later years, she worked for Tyndale House Publishers, in Wheaton, Illinois, as an Assistant Personnel Director; she also worked in the editing department. She helped edit, “The Living Bible,” and you can find Evadel’s name in the introduction of the original printing.

She was also a Bible teacher for years in various churches.

She had a long, healthy life and passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is now with Jesus Christ in heaven.
