In Memory Of
Leslie Ann Coppin
1955 - 2015
Unlike many, Leslie had absolutely no fear of death. She would joke that a herd of nearly 20 family dogs, relatives and her son would meet her in the afterlife. She was certain with contagious optimism that life continued beyond the grave.
Leslie was born March 13, 1955 in Provo, Utah, the daughter of Lamar and Alice (Krystal) Holmes. She was the second oldest of six beautiful girls. She loved cooking and entertaining family. Her recipe for baked beans and Guamanian chicken was the envy of many. She was a graduate of Arapahoe High School and later attended Ricks College. On March 18, 1975 she married Christopher Coppin, of Littleton, Colorado. Leslie built a successful career in the medical industry while simultaneously raising five children.
Leslie is survived by her husband, Chris Coppin; children, Brandon Coppin, Cameron (Whitney) Coppin, Chad (Megan) Coppin, and Nicole (Jacob) Fry; three grandchildren, Parker Coppin, Kennedy Coppin, and Oakley Coppin; mother, Alice Holmes; five sisters, Kristene (Craig) Poulsen, Diane (Kirk) Wilsted, Kaylyn (Paul) Fletcher, Lisa (Derek) Gifford, and Jennifer (Paul) Rich. She is preceded in death by her son, Clinton Coppin and father, Lamar Holmes.
