Don A. Biays, 84, of Littleton, passed away September 20, 2015.

He was born October 25, 1930 in Bunker Hill, Kansas, the son of Roy and Helen (Hoopman) Biays. He was a graduate of South High School in Denver.

Don honorably served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. While he was stationed in California, he met Joan Bateman. They were married on November 6, 1953.

Don was a Master Cabinetmaker, making anything by sight and without the need for plans. He was close to his family and his love of his family came through in the projects that he crafted for them, from Hope Chests he made for his daughter and granddaughters to the custom desk he made for his grandson and lastly the rocking duck he made for his great-granddaughter. Don was an avid antique tool collector and enjoyed hunting.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joan M. Biays; Daughter, Kathleen N. (Loren) Richmond; Four Grandchildren, Katherine M. Richmond, Loren J. (Corinna) Richmond Jr., Sarah L. (fiance Royal Shrader) Richmond and Deborah A. (Stephen) Epps; a Great-Grandchild, Alexandra H. Richmond and Brother, Bill Biays.

He is preceded in death by Father, Roy J. Biays, Mother, Helen Biays, Son, Henry Biays and Brother, Hal Biays.
