Robert "Bob" C. Miller, 90, of Denver, passed away November 22, 2015.

He was born July 1, 1925 in Denver, Colorado, the son of William and Lillian (Amsler) Miller. When he was three years old he moved to the house at 2840 West 1st Avenue in Denver. In 1936, when he was eleven, he lost his father to Pneumonia. Times were very difficult after that. He continued school at Barnum Elementary. At that time Elementary school went thru the eight grade. He was a graduate of Denver West High School in 1943.

After graduation, he went to work on a cattle ranch in Leadville. The work included mowing & putting up hay, feeding and punching cattle and whatever else needed to be done. While he was working on the ranch, his mom came up to cook for the ranch hands during the summer.

When he came back from the ranch, he took a job at Denver Dental Laboratory. His starting salary was $.50 an hour. He didn't realize it at the time, but this occupation would become his lifelong career. He was there for 61 years. During his time there he became known to many in the industry as the best crown & bridge man in Colorado.

In April 1946 he met Arlene on a blind date. His mom and Arlene's aunt set them up. Things went so well that they were married on July 4, 1946. They had three children, Georgia born in 1948, Bill born in 1950 and Lyle born in 1954. They were extremely happy with their family and loved their children very much.

Their life as a family was always a happy one. They loved their kids and each other and lived every day for their family. They saw them go from babies to established adults. They went through school, scouts, college and marriages with their children. They gave them grandchildren, great grandchildren, and recently three great great grandchildren.

As life made it necessary for them to leave their home, they were blessed to live with Bill & Kathy. They were loved and cared for by them since 2003, and have appreciated very much, all they did for them.

He is survived by Two Sons, William B. (Katherine) Miller, Lyle R. (Diane) Miller; Daughter, Georgia A. Schuessler; Six Grandchildren; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; Three Great-Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Arlene Miller, Sister, Mildred Miller.

Memorial contributions may be made to Red Rocks Fellowship Building Fund, 11195 W. Belleview Ave, Littleton, CO 80127 or Alzheimer's Association: Denver Chapter, 455 Sherman Street #500, Denver, CO 80203.
