Norma J. Sanchez

Norma J. Sanchez was born to Orval and Hazel Ingram on August 19, 1940. There were three siblings which included herself, one brother and one sister.

After losing her father to the War, she moved to Golden, Colorado to live with her Aunt in the Coors Mansion. At this time she graduated from High School and set off to start her adult life.

Giving birth to Pam and Terri. In 1970, she met the man of her dreams and on August 1, 1970, she married Richard Sanchez. Really not knowing what or who all came with him (LOL). She was in love. Richard swept her off her feet. The only thing she was thinking was this is the man she would spend the rest of her life with. Richard came with three boys and two girls. Together they had one girl and one boy and adopted their granddaughter, raising her as their daughter.

Norma worked many years as a Workers Compensation Manager. Her career started at Montgomery Ward and she retired from the City of Denver.

Norma passed away peacefully on August 20, 2016 with her two daughters at her bedside.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; sister Linda Harms, husband Richard Sanchez, two sons, Fred Sanchez and Ronnie Sanchez.

She is survived by two sons and four daughters: Michael Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Jr., Melanie and Jose Picon, Tammy Sanchez, Bobbi Jo Sanchez, Paula Sanchez and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and family.

Abiding by the wishes of both Norma and Richard, we will be combining their ashes together in one vase and will be scattered privately at a future date.
