Bobbie was born on October 22, 1939 in North Platte, Nebraska to Joseph and Mildred (Bending) Webber. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1957, and completed X-Ray Technician school in Hastings, Nebraska two years later. On March 19, 1960, she married her high school sweetheart, Harold Quandt. Harold and Bobbie were married for just two months shy of 57 years.
In her spare time, Bobbie enjoyed every kind of craft from toll painting to scrapbooking. In recent years, she and Harold operated an eBay business reselling collectibles they purchased at auction.
Bobbie is survived by a loving family: her husband, Harold Quandt; her daughter, Kari Berglund and son-in-law Tim; her son, Michael Quandt; three grandchildren, Zach Berglund and wife Dorothy, Hannah Berglund, and Sarah Berglund; and sister, Betty Hoeft. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mildred Webber.
In honor of Bobbie's lifelong passion for wildlife and conservation, we invite memorial contributions be made to World Wildlife Fund at https://secure.worldwildlife.org/donations/memorial-donation.aspx.
