She was born August 9, 1930 in Gadsden, Alabama and married April 23, 1949. She worked as a Nurse's Aid in ENT at University Hospital for 25 years upon her retirement in 1987.
She is preceded in death by her son, father, mother, three brothers, and one sister. She is survived by two sons and their wives; two daughters and their husbands; five grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; as well as beloved nephews and nieces.
