Betty L. Drye, 89, of Westminster, passed away January 10, 2018.

She was born April 11, 1928 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of Orlander U. "O.U." and Grace (Pool) Green. Betty was raised in and lived in Fayetteville for many years, only moving to Denver for Tommy's health.

On August 30, 1947 she married Tommy Drye.

Betty was a member of Beth Eden Baptist Church where she was also involved in the Heritage Sunday School Class. Prior to Beth Eden, she was very active at Judson Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. She was faithful to the Lord and practiced her relationship with Christ openly.

Betty, along with Tommy, campground hosted in Grand Lake Reservoir for many years. She enjoyed traveling, both with Tommy and in her later years. Betty was most proud of the European tour that she took and also traveling to Ireland with her daughter, Sharon. Betty participated in many events in San Marino while she lived there. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife and mother. She passed on the lessons of devotion to her daughter, Sharon, who modeled that devotion in caring for her mother for her last years.

Betty is survived by Daughter, Sharon K. (Robert) Young; Three Nieces, (Tom) Nona, (Jay) Nancy and Cara and a host of friends including her close friend, Phyllis Giron.

She is preceded in death by Husband, Tommy D. Drye; Father, Orlander U. Green; Mother, Grace Green and Sister, Aileen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to Beth Eden Baptist Church Building Program, 2600 Wadsworth Blvd., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
