Elsie Esther Perez 92, died Thursday at Collier’s Hospice Center. She was born to Juan and Esmeralda Romero on November 3, 1925 in Fromberg Montana. She married the late Guillermo Perez in 1944, and lived in Denver until she died.
Elsie is survived by three children: Charles, Poley, and Susie. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, her six siblings, her son, and her husband.
During her working years she was a furniture seamstress, a housekeeper, and a caregiver. Caring for others was a passion that was very important to her. Elsie also enjoyed gardening and socializing with her family and friends. Many of her happy years were spent doing these activities.
