Rito attended West High School. He joined the Navy on July 20, 1943, served at Pearl Harbor and was discharged on December 17, 1945.
He married Ermenia "Erma" Martinez on June 17, 1946. Rito was a custom cabinet maker and owned his own business. He loved fishing, photography, and playing pool.
Rito is survived by two children Rita (Jerry) Aragon and Ron (Jonnie) Domingo; he is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and daughters Patricia and Benita.
