She was born at home on June 21, 1938 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the seventh child of Jesse and Aleda (Carter) Seward. She graduated from high school.
The family moved to Colorado Springs where Freda met and married Johnnie Orfield. They had a daughter that passed away when she was one month old. Later, they had 2 sons, John Randall and Robert Charles Orfield.
Freda later married Willis Williamson and added to her family with a son, Todd Williamson.
She worked for Honeywell until she retired.
On June 20, 1985 she married Cayle McAllister, of Thornton, Colorado, and they made their home in the Brighton, Colorado area.
Freda is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Cayle McAllister. In addition to Cayle, Freda is survived by three sons, all of which are very successful: John Orfield (Lorie), Robert Orfield (Barb) and Todd Williamson (Shareese). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by father, Jesse Seward; mother, Aleda Seward, when Freda was only 5 years old, and daughter, Shirley Ann Orfield.
