Sharon Elizabeth Gomez 51, of Denver Colorado has passed away August 20, 2018. Sharon was born in Denver Colorado to Patrick Velarde and Josephine J Vigil Velarde (Gomez) . She was later adopted by Dennis "Rick" Gomez.

Sharon is survived by her Father (Rick Gomez), Mother (Jo Gomez), Brother (Patrick Gomez), Son (Christopher Gomez), Son (Simon Gonzalez), Son (Jose Gonzalez), and her beautiful eleven grandchildren.

She was a smart, loving, caring, and giving women. Sharon was the type of person who always put others needs before her own and would do anything for her family and friends. She encouraged people to do better for themselves.

Sharon loved going to Church, food banks and the Casino's to (Eat Crab Legs), cooking crocheting/ knitting, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

We will miss her beautiful smile and all the positive and encouraging words she would speak. She will be missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Sept 8. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood Co 80226, followed by a Reception at The American Legion, 1901 Harlan St, Edgewater, CO 80214.
