Virginia M. Murphy, 95, of Lakewood, passed away September 19, 2018.

She was born January 27, 1923 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Pauline (Larsen) Pantier. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs.

In 1944, she married Charles Murphy.

Virginia was devoted to her family. She cherished the time that she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by Four Grandchildren, Kaylee M. (Brandon) Baker, Christopher (Catalina) Murphy, Stephen (Symone) Murphy and Michael (Amber) Murphy; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Murphy; father, Walter E. Pantier; mother, Pauline Pantier; two daughters, Sheila Murphy and Linda Dixon; son, Robert C. Murphy; grandchild, Robert Murphy, Jr.; sister, Betty and brother, Sherman.
