He was born March 12, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Mary Toomy and Charles Murphy. On February 15, 1964 he married Pauline Murphy in Northhampton, England.
Gregory served in the United States Air Force from 1951 until he retired in 1977. He then went on to work for the state of Colorado.
Gregory enjoyed painting and drawing in his free time, but most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Murphy, and daughter, Karen Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League.
