Earl was born in Minnesota in 1929. He worked on his family’s farm until his teenage years when they moved into town. He worked delivering furniture until he graduated high school. He joined the Air Force in aeronautical development.
After leaving the Air Force he met and married Gertrude Schafer and had three children, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. He retired from a career in electronics. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather.
