Lutie Ann Fischer, 91, of Aurora, passed away October 24, 2018.

She was born June 16, 1927 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Edward and Edith (Spence) Carter. She was a graduate of East High School. She attended the University of Denver. On March 14, 1947 she married Eugene Fischer, of Denver, Colorado.

After twenty years with Mountain Bell, Lutie retired and enjoyed several years as a docent with the Denver Zoo. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Africa, the Galapagos Islands and an Hawaiian cruise. She also enjoyed camping with her family, being outdoors, and playing golf.

She enjoyed living at Dayton Place Cottages where she had many friends.

Lutie is survived by her three daughters, Ruth (Jeff) Zessin, Beverley (Charles) Bennett, and Linda (Bruce) Edwards; two grandchildren, Mike Cahill and Mat Cahill; three great-grandchildren, Michael Cahill, Shelby Cahill, and Gavin Cahill; and sister, Nancy (Les) Workman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Harold "Gene" Fischer; parents, Edward and Edith Carter; and sisters, Shirley Naylor and Beverley Scott.
