Paul Anthony Martinez, 59, of Denver, went to the lord on Friday, October 26th. Paul was the eldest son of Adolph and Henrietta Martinez. He was born on June 12th, 1959, at Mercy Hospital, Denver, Colorado.

The family moved to Houston, Texas where he attended Aldine Sr. High School, and he lettered in both Football and Track. After a few years he returned to Denver. On October 21st, 1995 he married Julia Catherine McHenry. On June 15th, 1996 they had a son, David A. Martinez, which changed their lives for the better.

Paul was very happy in Denver where he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. While taking advantage of the mountains by camping and fishing at any time he could spare.

He was preceded in death by his Father Adolph and mother Henrietta. He is survived by his brothers Ralph and John, as well as his son David with whom he was very proud.

The family is requesting donations be made in lieu of flowers.

A viewing will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Church at 10 am Tuesday November 6th, followed by a Rosary at 10:30 am, and mass at 11:30 am. The burial will be held after mass at Olinger Hampden Cemetery. After all ceremonies the family will be holding a reception back at St. Vincent De Paul Church at 1:30 pm.
