Dorothy E. Braun, 82, of Denver, passed away November 11, 2018.

She was born April 8, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Samuel and Helen (Stevens) Reed. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. On June 28, 1958 she married Herman Braun in Saginaw, Michigan at the Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church in Saginaw, Michigan. Later on Herman and Dorothy moved Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Throughout her life, Dorothy was very much involved with music. While living in Arizona she took part in many plays put on by local entertainment establishments. She took part in the Littleton Chorale and volunteered to do many skits. She was a terrific singer and volunteered much of her time helping to organize local musicals and plays. Dorothy was an avid painter of ceramics. She painted over 30 Santa Claus statues from many countries using their original colors.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Herman Braun; and children, Greg (Rose) Braun, Tim (Debbie) Braun, and Jillaine Braun; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Caleb Reed and Helen Reed; and brother, Richard Reed.
