David Allen, 89, of Lakewood, died Monday, November 26, 2018. He was born to Stanley & Mary Allen on February 28, 1929 in Bristol, England. David was educated in England and became a Civil Engineer. He later came to America and became a naturalized citizen. He met and married June Smoot. They became divorced and he later married M. Susan Erickson who preceded him in death on April 21, 2002.

He was involved in many construction projects all over the world including a bridge in India and a people mover in Canada. He traveled extensively all over the world where he visited China, Africa, South Viet Nam, Russia and many, many more countries.

David is survived by 2 daughters, Jessica of England and Christina Quinones of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter Joel, Michael and John, who live in Austin Texas and 2 great grandchildren.

David will be cremated and his cremains will be scattered where his late wife’s ashes were. There will be no services.
