Mary passed on to her life in Glory Wednesday December 12. She joined her husband Jerry, her parents Richard J and Josie Roorda. She also joined her sisters Anna, and Margaret and brothers Jim, Cy, Gary, Dick and Ted.
Mary is survived by her sister Bernice and her brother Joe, her three kids Sherry, David and Marvin (Cindy) as well as her grandkids Jason, Sarah (Justin), Tyler (Amber), Travis (Sophie), and Teagan (Ethan) and her great-grandkids Breanna, Traytan, Rhylee and Bentleigh.
Mary left a legacy of caring and love. She was born in South Denver and spent many wonderful years camping, travelling and even fishing. She kept up on sports and enjoyed attending many sporting events especially when her family was involved. Music was an integral part of Mary’s life and she particularly enjoyed playing the piano as it was a solace to her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society or Childrens Hospital can be made in her name.
